INCREDIBLY RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE. CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE HOLY GRAIL MATCHBOX SETS. FULLY RESTORED AND UPGRADED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. COMPLETELY SERVICED TO MECHANICALLY'AS NEW' CONDITION.

Welcome to our listing for a very rare and fully restored Matchbox Powertrack Plus PP9000 slot racing set. The set has been FULLY and painstakingly restored from the ground up and as we only use superior to OEM parts wherever possible, is mechanically better than new.

Featuring all new parts including. New Rear Axles and Drive Gears. The cars motors have been stripped and inspected before being serviced and voltage checked. The pickups are brand new and have been burred to ensure the best possible electrical contact with the track rails and are ready to race! THE SET HAS BEEN FULLY RESTORED AND.

IS IN EXCELLENT MECHANICAL CONDITION! The track (22.5ft) has been completely fully cleaned and restored. A number of track pieces were missing or damaged but all missing track has been replaced and all damaged track removed and replaced. The Loop section has been completely stripped and cleaned and is in perfect working order. The Banked Curve is in perfect condition. The track decals have been painstakingly reproduced in their entirety before being reapplied to the cleaned and restored track bed. Please note that the Terminal Track has light damage to one end but the track rails have been straightened and trued - this does not affect the sets operation in any way. Unfortunately owing to the incredibly rare nature of this track piece we were unable to replace it.

The 18V Powerpack has been checked and voltage tested as have the Hand Controllers and operate perfectly as they should. The set has all of its accessories including all Bridge Supports and Crash Barriers. The set also comes complete with original Paperwork and Instruction Booklet.

The box base is in very good condition, there are some tape marks present. The inner tray is in fair/good condition, it has a few age related marks and has some damage which has been repaired, although it still remains structurally sound. The box lid is in good condition, it has had light repairs and strengthening. There are tape marks to the sides of the box lid but the facia still looks excellent and would display very well. This incredibly rare and highly collectible set has been a genuine labour of love and has taken over TWO FULL DAYS to restore.

It has been bought back to mechanically as new condition and even the cosmetic track decals have been faithfully reproduced and reapplied. The set has been tested and operates perfectly and has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. It has been restored so that it can be used and enjoyed, it has been fully assembled and thoroughly tested, works perfectly and is literally ready to race straight out of the box.
