Packaged in a velvet presentation box in protective capsules. These Gold and Platinum coins were never released outside this set, and have a mintage of only 704 pieces. The Silver Libertad has a mintage of 10,000. Obverse: Represents a sculptural relief design of the National Shield, framed by the legend "Estados Unidos Mexicanos". Reverse: Represents the Winged Victory statue with Mexican volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl in the background. These coins are mint issued and backed.
