Vintage (1995) Huge LEGO set 6090 Royal Knight's Castle VERY RARE

  

Hello, this listing is for the HUGE vintage LEGO Royal Knight's Castle set 6090 that is built upon a rare large raised baseplate! The Castle itself has all original pieces and flags, and looks to be in excellent (almost like new) condition!!! I believe the only things keeping the set from being 100% complete is the original King's cape has been replaced with a color printout that I carefully cut out and honestly almost looks exactly like the original. Both the Ghost and the skeleton are there, but I think 1 or 2 of the other figures may be missing, and possibly 1 or 2 weapons.

All 3 original horses are there, but the barding is a different Lion Knight barding. I'm pretty sure everything else is there, but please note it is possible I may have missed something.

There are many cool features to this set! There is a little false-entrance /guardhouse in the front of the castle, where a ghost is hiding inside! The castle has a gate that can be raised / lowered by pulling a sring that is attached. Once past the gate, there is another string that can be pulled which makes a skeleton guard pop up out of the floor! The lower level of the castle has a dungeon and a well.

There is a tower for the King's throne, and there is a pin that can be pulled out to make minifigures fall through a trap door in the floor! There are a few other towers along the castle walls, and there are crossbow turrets and also a working catapult!

There is a secret set of stairs on the side of the castle that serves as a secret entrance/exit in and out of the castle! And there is also a large drawbridge on one side of the castle that can be raised lowered by turning a winch wheel!

You could argue that this may be the best of all the vintage castles, due to it's massive size and all the play features. As noted above, this castle is in excellent almost like new condition! Lease note set is used, so there may be some minor imperfections and/or slight discoloration due to age/wear/exposure. Please see photos for exact condition. The set was put back together using free instructions found through a quick online search. This hard to find set would make a great addition to any LEGO enthusiasts collection!
