Very Rare Vintage Anri Elsinor Modernist Wood Chess Set

  
Very Rare hand-carved abstract Anri Elsinore Chess Set, designed by Arthur Elliot, the famed designer of the Space Age Universum set. This is the rarest set Anri produced and were offered in a limited run. Similarly modern and minimalist, with simple elegant lines and details, the chessmen are abstract figurine representations of each of the chessmen. Each of the Anri Elsinore chessmen is hand-carved. The King stands 4-0 tall. It is carved from white maple, and Burmese teak.

Set is in immaculate condition in the original box. The bases are lightly weighted and the pieces are felted.

Anri chessmen are 100% made in Italy for those who can appreciate the true value of these magnificent artistic chessmen and are in excellent condition. Comes with original Anri wooden box. I inherited a large chess set collection and most were used for display in glass curio cabinets or stored.
