This is Revell kit H303, their FIRST military related Gift Set from 1953: " 3 American Jet Fighters ". The box is, unfortunately, in "suboptimal" condition.

Each face of the cover is shown. Each is "complete"---with a caveat. Both the Cougar and Cutlass kits?

Most of these kits I've seen have this part missing---even tho its shown on the instruction sheets. I believe that, since these NEVER appeared on the actual aircraft, Revell dropped the part sometimes in 1953. Further evidence for this can be seen on the instruction sheet--the BUILT Cutlass above the instructions does not have this part! I believe it is accurate to say the kits are complete!
