VERY NICE MID GRADE 1952 TOPPS BASEBALL NEAR COMPLETE LOW NUMBER SET (-8) w/MOST STARS FROM THE LOW SERIES. BOTH RED AND BLACK BACKS INCLUDED. TOUGH TO FIND IN NICE SHAPE! Overall lot condition is VG+/VGEX in MY OPINION. Missing# 227, 253, 255, 261, 271, 272, 275, 286.

Lots of variation from G to EX with starts in similar shape. Some centering issues as is common with these.

Several CRISP EX+ EXMT or better cards included within as well. Pafko G/G+ (No creases, rounded corners, minor paper loss on back, surface wear). Rizzuto appears VG- (rounded corners, off center, tiny pinholes by NY on hat). Loes VG/VG+ (rounded corners, crease by top right).

Dimaggio #22 G/VG (rounded corners, small paper loss on back, left to right creasing). Irvin G/G+ (various surface wrinkles, rounded corners).

Roberts F/G (Print marks, creasing, rounded corners). Feller G/VG (appears much nicer, has creasing throughout, fairly sharp corners). Berra VG/VG+ (off center, surface crease, fuzzy to lightly rounded corners).

Lemon appears EX (fairly sharp car, has heavy glue on back). Kluszewski VG- (soft to rounded corners, corner wrinkles, edge wear).

Hodges VG- (rounded corners, crease by upper left). Spahn G/VG (rounded corners, surface creasing).

Roe appears VG+ (rounded corners, tiny hairline wrinkle, some paper loss on back). Snider VG+/VGEX (miscut, soft to rounded corners, tiny corner wrinkles). Lopat G- (rounded corners, crease left to right). Slaughter VG- (rounded corners, surface creasing).

Schoendienst VG- (rounded corners, surface creasing). Jensen G/G+ (corner rounding, corner creases). Mize VG- (fuzzy to tounded corners, crease, tiny paper loss on back). Bauer G/G+ (crease left to right, water staining, appears VGEX from distance).

Ashburn appears EXMT+/NM super crisp! Some pen marks otherwise killer card. Doby VG+ (rounded corners, surface scratches). Kell G/VG- (minor paper loss, corner crease on top left, edge wear). Page appears G/VG (tiny pinhole on top and stamp on back). Irvin #26 G/VG (rounded corners, surface creasing). Reynolds #67 VGEX (soft to rounded corners, no creasing, couple very small marks on back). Wynn G (off center, rounded corners, creasing). Kell appears VG+/VGEX (crease by top left corner area, tiny piece of paper loss on front). Metkovich #310 VG+/VGEX (soft corners, nicely centered, small corner crease on back). Near set is overall fairly clean and very presentable. BRIGHT COLORS throughout and backs fairly clean overall. Displayed in clean and clear NEW sheets as shown in pictures (no album). Lots of strong VG and VGEX ones, as well as a couple weak EXs thrown in there, with the occasional G or lower. None are completely chewed up except for maybe a couple. Several have creasing as is common on these.

Hard to find out there in any grade, because you just don't see too many early 52 Topps lots. Priced fairly for a collector to enjoy, or break it apart, get cards graded and use it as an investment. Perfect as a gift for friends or family. Please look at pictures carefully and ask any and all questions beforehand.
